You perfected the menu. Found the right lighting. Hired wonderful people. Spent three weeks choosing a shade of white that apparently comes in 47 personalities.
But if someone can’t get through your front door, none of that gets a chance to matter.
That’s why we love We Hear You.
Founder Pierre Paul started the company in 2019 alongside his best friend, Bethanie Couri, initially working on sign language translation technology. The door-opening idea gained urgency after Pierre spoke with disability advocate Carden Wyckoff about the difficulty of navigating doors with muscular dystrophy. Someone described a barrier. They listened and got to work.

Their Hero Door Opener adds automatic operation to compatible existing doors, with activation through an app, fob or wireless wall button. Designed for straightforward installation without extensive renovations or complicated hardwiring, it tackles something business owners need, too: a more manageable way to make an improvement.

Less installation hassle. Less renovation expense. Less distance between “We should make our entrance accessible” and actually doing it.
Not everyone faces the same barriers. But making sure customers can get through the door is a remarkably reasonable place to start.
At Zamonos.com, we help people share and find accessibility information so they can choose places that meet their needs. We want more businesses to become places people can confidently choose.

We Hear You helps make that possible by reducing the work and expense involved in removing one very literal obstacle. An automatic opener won’t fix every entrance barrier, but on a suitable doorway, it can make a meaningful difference to someone’s independence.
And that’s what we love: thoughtful design that makes welcoming people easier to put into practice.
Your welcome sign is doing its best. Give it a door that backs it up.
