Thulisa Naturals

Thulisa means "bringer of peace" in Zulu, and founder Anusha Moodley chose the name with care. Born and raised in South Africa, she became a mom in the United States and went through postpartum depression. Her daily shower turned into one of the few moments in the day that was hers alone. With a background in healthcare, she started reading about essential oils and making bath products in her kitchen.

Based in Fairfax, Virginia, she began selling at markets in 2017. Shoppers kept asking for "something for the shower," and the shower steamer became the star of the line. Everything is still made in house from essential oils, carrier oils, and butters.

The collection now includes shower steamers in blends like Lavender Mint, Palo Santo & Sage, Cardamom & Vanilla, and Pink Grapefruit, plus body butters and magnesium bath soaks.
