This cordless motion sensor nightlight glows when you walk by and rests when you don't, or you can switch it to always on. It charges by USB-C in about an hour and gives about 8 hours of continuous light, and a charge lasts longer in motion mode. Set it on a dresser, or mount it with the included magnet and adhesive sticker. Pick your glow: Amber is a candlelight-like 1600K with more light for stairs and hallways, and Red is the pick for the hours before bed and middle-of-the-night trips. Both have 0% blue light.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is red or amber better?

It depends on placement and how much illumination you prefer. Both options are blue light-free. We prefer red during the two hours before bed and for middle-of-the-night moments, while amber gives us more illumination for finding our way around.

In our own home, we use the amber Queen Bee in our dark stairwell and hallway, and a red plug-in nightlight in our primary bathroom. Choose the light that gives you enough visibility for the space, and keep nighttime lighting as low as practical.

Where should I start with a home lighting makeover?

Is it rechargeable, and how long does a charge last?

Yes! Queen Bee includes a USB-C charging cord. A full charge takes approximately one hour, with approximately eight hours of continuous illumination. When used in motion-sensor mode, the time between charges can be much longer because the light only comes on as needed. Battery life varies with use.

How do I place or mount it?

Set it on a flat surface or use the included magnet and adhesive sticker for mounting. The adhesive is best suited to a more permanent placement. Choose your surface carefully, as removing it may damage paint, wallpaper, or other finishes.

Can I leave it on?

Yes. Select the always-on setting for continuous light. Queen Bee is not dimmable.

What if it isn’t charging or holding a charge?

For any of our rechargeable devices, we recommend trying a different charging cord first, then fully charging the device again.
