Inklings Baby
Inklings Baby began with a pile of baby gifts that all looked the same: gray bunnies and brown teddy bears. Founder Aimee Danchise, a designer with more than 20 years in product design and production, teamed up with her best friend to bring back the color and wonderful weirdness of their own 1980s childhoods.
The result is a world of original characters like Gus, Wobby, Ollie, and Digby, and board books about a baby who imagines a new best friend. The stories reflect many kinds of families, including LGBTQ+ parents, so more children can see themselves on the page. Bold colors, rattles, crinkles, and mixed textures invite little hands to explore.
Somewhere between the first rattle and the first bedtime story, a baby learns their family belongs. Inklings makes sure it happens in full color.
